Der p 1 ELISA kit

Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus 1 (Der p1) is one of the major mite allergens next to Dermatophagoides farinae. Concentrations of these allergens can be determined in the nanogram range (1-15 ng/ml) by means of ELISA.
A monoclonal-coated microtiter plate is used for binding of Der p1 containing standards and unknown samples. After washing a polyclonal antibody is adsorbed, followed by peroxidase labeled detection antibody and chromogenic substrate. Cleavage of the substrate is quantified by measuring the optical density at 450 nm. Low and high quality controls are included in this kit.
